1) Deck Builder (Add Cards Fast)
Use Deck Builder to find cards and add them to your deck with quantity, price, and optional card categories.
- Search bar: Type card names, set names, or keywords.
- Voice search:
- *Recommended* For large decks, or vendors trying to list products. Allows you to add cards to deck faster than any other way.
- One spoken word is searched as-is.
- Two or more spoken words try to match the closest real card title.
- Advanced filters: Narrow by set, color, type, rarity, mana cost, power/toughness, loyalty, artist, and more.
- Filter/Search button: Applies your search and filters.
- Reset button: Clears current search and filter values.
- Add to Deck Dropdown: This is a dropdown that you can easily click on the deck you wish to add to for any item on our system.
2) Build and Organize Your Deck
- Select a deck to edit from the deck dropdown.
- Add cards from search results into your deck.
- Set quantity and optional price per card.
- Use card categories to organize cards (for example: Commander, Sideboard, Maybeboard, or custom categories).
3) Manage Decks
On the Manage Decks page, you can:
- Create a new deck.
- Publish or unpublish decks. When doing so, you may define a category of the deck, add some comments, and provide a deck format.
- Delete decks.
- Export decks (simple, vendor-friendly, or advanced export formats).
- Import cards by CSV. You can take what you export, and import it at any time.
CSV Import Format
Use a CSV with headers like:
card name, set name, quantity, price, card number, finish, card categories
Example row:
Angel of Mercy, Tenth Edition, 3, 12.99, 2, foil, Sideboard
4) Deck Viewer
Deck Viewer helps you inspect your list and deck data.
- Display modes: Stacked, grid, list, and detailed list views.
- Extra detail sections: Deck details, deck metadata, and chart sections.
- Grouping: Group cards by selected attributes (such as type, set, rarity, or your own card categories).
- Probability tool: Estimate odds of drawing cards by name, category, type, subtype, or mana value.
- Save/Load/Delete View: This will save the state that view deck is in at the time you do it. It will save this in the browser, so it will be local. You can load this on the playtester or deck viewer at any time. Be careful, your data saved locally can be lost, so if you have a deck you like, save it to our site by Saving as a new Deck.
- Save As New Deck: This allows you to save the deck to your account. You must be logged in to perform this action. You can either save it in a published status or unpublished status. If you choose published status, the deck meta information like format and category will stay the same until you change it.
5) Playtester
Playtester lets you simulate gameplay with your deck in-browser.
- Move cards between common zones: Library, Hand, Play Field, Graveyard, Exile, Sideboard, Maybeboard, and Command.
- Drag and arrange cards on the play field.
- Adjust visual settings like card sizes, hand curve behavior, and other playtest display options.
- Add Tokens, adjust power/toughness, create custom cards, and many other custom options within playtester, by right clicking.
- Every zone has different things you can do, from a menu.
- Save state of the playtester, so you can load it later.
- Load a local copy of any saved view you have saved locally.
6) Your Collection
- This will show all of the decks you currently have created, with aggregate information about them.
- Includes current prices of decks.
6) Voice Search Tips
- Speak clearly and include more than one word for best card-title matching.
- If you know the set, apply set and other filters first to improve match quality.
- If a voice result looks wrong, edit the search text manually and run search again.
7) Quick Troubleshooting
- No results found: Clear filters and try a broader search.
- Wrong card matched from voice: Add more spoken words, then narrow by set.
- Still no results from voice?: Try spelling it out by saying one letter at a time. This is particularly good when searching for very weird words used.
- Can’t edit a deck: Make sure you are logged in and selected your own deck. You may make local edits and save the view inside the view deck while logged off, so you can then import it later to save it to the website.
- Import issues: Verify CSV headers and card/set names are valid.
8) Best Practices
- Keep prices updated if you track deck value over time.
- Use Playtester regularly to refine mana curve and card balance.
